Did you know the average person lies 11 times a week? This statistic really shocked me. This Huffington Post article made some really good points that very much relate to my Ask Jasmin video:
This video was an interesting reality check on the average adult life stuck in the rat race. I appreciated the perspective shift he spoke about at the end… What do u guys think of this?
Make sure you are sticking to your intentions. If you aren’t, challenge yourself to lean into any fears or hesitations that are holding you back. Read more: http://JasminBalance.com/8-steps-to-achieve-anything-reflect-more

Step 6 – TAKE ACTION:
Start working towards your action items, one step at a time. Make sure each step is easy enough to complete.

Step 5 – PLAN:
Create a SPECIFIC schedule with your plan of action, one step at a time. Prepare for your “self-sabotager”. Determine ways to you would like to address your fears and negative thinking before they arise.

Step 3 – DECIDE:
What are the EXACT steps you are planning to take? Simply each step to small baby steps, easy to accomplish. (ie. Rather than exercise 30 minutes a day, start with 10 minutes 2x/week, then add more once you’ve accomplished that.)

Make sure they are SMART Goals:
Specific - Measurable - Attainable - Realistic - Timely

Each time I gave this response, I felt a bit more fear arise inside me. “Was I being arrogant? Were we really putting ourselves in harm’s way by going there?” Being a fairly seasoned traveler, I have gotten familiar with my “pre-adventure fears.” Before a big trip, I tend to think of all of the horrific possibilities of what could happen to me while I’m in the foreign land, all of the images I’ve seen on the news and all of the scary stories I’ve heard, roll up into a jumbled fear ball in the pit of my stomach. Then, once I show up, I am reminded once again, that the new foreign place is filled with people, just like me, trying their best with what they’ve got.

This incredible story about Marlie, the girl with a new face really puts our lives into perspective… Images of this little girl will stay with me forever… How often we get stuck in the details of our own lives and forget what other people are going through in the rest of the world. Feeling so much compassion and gratitude right now… Remembering what it was like to experience my own version of this situation… http://jasminbalance.com/a-life-changing-experience/
